I am directed by His Broellenov the Governor

to inform you that your suspension from the exercise of the

duties of your office is under consideration, and to signify,

to you the grounds of your intended suspension.

▲ statement of such grounds is as followe:-

"That you, on or about the 2nd day of October,

"1922, signed a certificate of destruction of 1,500,000 "cigarettes (30 oerer), which had not in fact been

"destroyed, contrary to vour duty to make certain of

"the destruction thereof before so signing."
